Description
The zoological collections in IICT include vertebrates and invertebrates. For the time being, only mammals, birds and amphibians collections are fully cataloged, totalizing about 1500, 5000 and 2000 records, respectively, These include the samples from field expeditions to Guinea-Bissay (1944, 1945, 1946, 1953), to Mozambique (1948, 1955) and to São Tomé and Principe.
